LA bound... nearly!

Alas, it begins. After literally months and months of planning for VISA's, flights, accommodation... and stuff like that, it is now time to leave! I really pride myself on my comprehensive organizational skills, it really made leading up to the trip that much more enjoyable.

First stop is Sydney, Australia where I will be staying with some relatives for a couple of days before flying out to Los Angeles, America. So... am I ready? Excited? Nervous? Tired? A swirling combination of all the above really!

I am still getting used to my backpack (I pulled a muscle in my neck last night, already... it really hurts). Although I did fall asleep surprisingly well, I am much more calm about all this than I initially thought I would be, so that's a plus. Although... you know... I haven't even left Melbourne yet. And my mum only dropped me off 5 minutes ago so... I guess it is understandable I am calm now. Let's see how I go when I get there, ha.

Already I miss home, family and friends greatly. This last month has been some of the best times I have ever had, and I know I have created quite an awesome life for myself these last few years whilst living out of home. Good job, good house(s), great friends. It was tough to say goodbye.

Oh well, got to throw some risk around some time I guess.

I will use this blog to just keep track of what I am up to, where I am and how I am going. I have absolutely no idea how often I can update it however. I will also try my best to make it sound interesting, as... you know, reading about someone else's holiday can get pretty boring.
